Ortona Gymnastics

Programs and Services

Ortona Gymnastics offers programming in a variety of gymnastics disciplines for ages 3 months to adult, providing foundations in movement, balance, strength, flexibility and coordination. Starting with Babynastics for ages 3 months to walkers, youngsters move up into the KinderGym, a wonderful space that is designed for toddlers to preschoolers, with equipment sized just for them. An appealing and fun space, this age group progresses through Ortona's own Leapah's World of Wonderment skill levels that develop and define the basics of movement for youngsters including hand-eye coordination, balance, musical movement and listening skills.

As preschoolers move into grade school they can progress into the skills development of the recreational CanGym badge program with 12 badge levels of artistic gymnastics or enter into the competitive stream by coach invitation or assessment. If traditional artistic gymnastics doesn't interest the athlete as much there is also Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline, Trampoline & Tumbling, Urbanastics including Parkour & Freerunning, Performance Gymnastics, Cheerleader Tumbling, specialty teen programs and specialty adult programs. There are also a number of drop-in times called 'Open Gym' where you and/or your family can come and practice or just play.

Ortona offers specialty programming to children, youth and adults with special needs. The Tuck & Rollers is a long standing program for kids with autism, open activity sessions have been developed for Adults with Abilities and other specialty programming can be available as needed/requested.

Active and fun seasonal camps are offered to both new athletes and experienced athletes - try one discipline of gymnastics, try a few. In addition to gym time, camps break up the day with crafts, cooking and other activities to keep campers engaged. Camps run over the Christmas holidays, during spring break and all summer long and are for kids aged 3-14.
